Brisbane adventures

The one thing I have truly had strong withdrawal symptoms from is not doing regular exercise. Before I came travelling I was determined to tone up and lose abit of weight, without even realising, I grew a passion for 'working out' and pushing myself to the limit, with a fare few times nearly being sick, but thats for a whole new blog post topic.
On our last day in Brisbane, before we jetted off to Cairns, we rented bikes and road them round Brisbane city centre and the gorgeous city botanical gardens. From the many spinning classes I’ve attended I thought I’d be a pro on a bike, trying to smash out tricks…but no, I nearly fell face first on a number of occasions. To top if off we had to wear these tiny helmets, well I say tiny as my head is slighting bigger than the average head.
To say its winter here, down under, it was hitting the late 20 degrees, but that unfortunately feels mild to me now, think I’ve fully acclimatised to the beautiful weather in Australia, Im going to be screwed when I get back to the unpredictable nature of the English weather!
I swear England don’t do city bike hires, unless I’m just completely oblivious to it, but to say its only $2 for 24hr hiring, that isn’t too bad, my bank account and legs were loving life!
So heres a few snaps from the day, plus there's an outfit post coming very soon...enjoy!

hope you enjoyed my little day trip out post in Brisbane, truly recommend 'City Cycles' if you find you're in Australia, they are everywhere, you can't miss them!
